Utility Marches In

- The Collection -

The army-inspired look seems to constantly come back into style - or perhaps it never left. It’s the perfect example of timelessness.

There’s just something so masculine and roughly elegant about utility garments. And of course they’re functional, which we all love. Their many pockets provide somewhere to safely and comfortably keep your phone, keys, wallet and maybe even a notepad, a luxury that can’t be underestimated. And as usual, we take traditional styles and the features we love (like pockets!) and make them our own with unexpected details and functions.

Early spring at Morris marches in with outer garments in this utility style. There’s the Moorea Field Jacket, inspired by the classic British field jacket, but made in a high-quality cotton and linen fabric to give it a more spring-like feel. Pockets on this model come in many size and shapes: four on the front (the classic placement on original field jackets), two of which are stitched at the chest and two which are larger, with buttoned flaps; plus two inside pockets. We also included details like a drawstring at the waist and two buttons on the cuffs for maximum comfort and a more personalized fit.

For the Morris Lady, there’s the hip-length Raphaelle Jacket in 100% heavy cotton with a flattering, subtle A-line shape. The width of the waist can be adjusted with a tab and a side button—perfect if you want to move through the city jungle in a silhouette that changes with your mood.

The truly great thing about both of these jackets is that they fit with absolutely everything. It’s just a cool, timeless look for all occasions.
