What kind of personal data do we collect?

The information we collect, is the one you give to us, for e.g. your name, delivery address, social security
number, email address and phone number, along with information regarding your purchases, e.g. which items you have purchased, pricings, date and shop you have made the purchase and returned items. We also collect information from you when contacting our customer service. We collect the data mentioned above to be able to fulfil our obligations to you as our customer.

Morris Stockholm handle information regarding credit cards but do not save any data from credit cards, this data is only being stored by the credit and payment service companies. If we have not received a complete social security number from you Morris Stockholm will supply this information, via external supplier, for secure identification. Morris retrieves and updates, automatically, your address information from the national registration via an authorized supplier.

Children’s personal data

Morris Stockholm do not have any targeted offers for children and does not actively collect Children’s personal data. If you, as a parent or guardian of a child younger than 16 years, will receive information that the child has provided us with personal data. We would be grateful if you would contact us for deletion of the information. All information regarding how to contact us you will find below.

How do we use your personal data?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

– Secure your identity and update your address.
– When choosing invoice as payment method your data is transmitted to the credit and payment service company, see Terms & Conditions.
– When processing your purchases and returns.
– Send you delivery notifications by text messages.
– Send you shipping notifications.
– Shipment and warranty issues.
– Reply to your question and queries via email or customer service.
– Analysis and segmentation for targeted campaigns.
– Sending emails of general or targeted nature.
– Invitations to events.

For how long do we store your data?

When you provide us at Morris Stockholm with your personal data, you give us your consent to collect and store your purchase and process the data, for above mentioned reasons. We will not store your data for any longer than what is necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned above, or as long as we are, by law, obliged to store your data. Thereafter all your personal data will be deleted.  Every 36th month we anonymize all information regarding customer no longer active.

As a part of our marketing we analyse information, amongst personal data, about your usage of our website www.morrisstockholm.com, information about your purchases from our website and your activity on our social platforms (to read more about the cookies we use see the section “Cookies”). By using Google Analytics, we will process and analyse your personal data and information regarding your web usage to be able to customize the ads and offers you will see and develop our products and services. Furthermore, we and Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) may use your personal data to evaluate your use of our site www.morrisstockholm.com and for services related to website activities and internet use.

Your personal data will be handed out/provided to Google since we use Google Analytics for analyzation. For this reason, your personal data may be transmitted to, and stored on, Google’s servers that are located around the world. Your personal data may thus be handled on a server in a country other than where you live. Google may also transmit your personal data to third parties in the event where it is required by law or when third parties process the information behalf of Google.

What are your rights?

You have the right, at any time (free of charge once a year), to request information regarding what kind of personal data we have stored, the purposes of processing these personal data and information about where these personal data have been obtained. Requests to receive such information must be in writing and sent to our customer service at the address given below. To be able to find your data in all our databases we will need your name, social security number, address and phone number.

If you wish to have your personal data disclosed for the purpose of being able to use it elsewhere (data portability), please contact [email protected]. Morris Stockholm is obligated to keep personal information for 7 years in accordance with the accounting law in force and is therefore, in some cases, obliged by law to process your personal data even though you have requested the data to be deleted.

Who has access to your personal data?

Your personal data will not be transmitted or sold to third parties in advertising purposes. However, your personal data may be transmitted to third parties, if needed to provide services to you. This involves the examples below:

– Logistics – to be able to secure a safe delivery of your ordered items.
– Payment solutions – If you choose to pay by invoice, we will transmit your social security number to the payment service company, who will need the number for information on solvency.
– In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, Morris will pass to Klarna your personal data, such as contact and order details. This will be provided in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s privacy policy.
– Authorities – to be able to fulfil our judicial obligations, such as Postnord/Schenker/UPS, tax agency and other authorities.
– IT services – to be able to provide services that are crucial for our operation, technical support and maintenance.
– Marketing/advertising – for analysis of your personal data and distribution of offers.

We may also transmit your personal data to third parties for updates and applying information from the public register or other public records to simplify our ordering procedure when placing an order on our website.

How do we protect your personal data?

Morris takes on the technical and organizational safety precautions, as needed by law, to make sure your personal data is not tempered with, lost or destroyed, or that unauthorized persons access the data. Our safety routines are always evolving with the technical evolution.
